History & Impact of Locally Social Gives, Inc.

Locally Social Gives, Inc. was founded in the spring of 2022 with a simple belief: it feels good to do good.

Inspired by years of community generosity through Locally Social Coffee, our nonprofit was created to turn that spirit of giving into meaningful support for our neighbors.

Our story began with Locally Social Coffee bringing people together to support local causes, families, and organizations. Over the years, those efforts have included support for the Alzheimer’s Association, Kingdom Animal Shelter, Umbrella, the Department for Children and Families, NVRH, local schools and daycares, and student scholarships.

That spirit of generosity has also inspired community Christmas events, our annual 12 Days of Christmas gift giving, raffles and giveaways, flood relief grants, and assistance for individuals and families during times of crisis.

As Locally Social Gives grows, we are changing how we put your generosity to work.

Our primary focus is raising funds and distributing them to organizations within our geographic service area that serve the populations at the heart of our mission. Rather than offering an open grant application process, we will identify organizations whose work aligns with our mission and direct funding to support their efforts.

Through fundraising events, community campaigns, and donations, we will help these organizations meet local needs and support the neighbors who rely on them.

We also recognize that extraordinary circumstances may call for direct support. At the discretion of our Board of Directors, Locally Social Gives may provide assistance to individuals or families facing a crisis when the circumstances align with our mission and established eligibility criteria.

Whether you donate, attend an event, or help spread the word, you are part of this work. Together, we can turn the generosity of our community into meaningful support that stays close to home
